我们脑中像有一个映射宇宙的屏幕或储存宇宙记忆的空间,我们应该相信时空对所有发生都是有记录的,这个文件夹需要通过足够的能量才能打开。自然无时无刻不在向我们传递着宇宙的密码,只是我们原本与宇宙、自然相通的能力被所谓的社会规则、符号和尺度所阻隔,慢慢变得麻木和工具化,失去了原始的敏锐和天赋。我们通过艺术去寻找、积聚这种“能量”,让我们的身体与宇宙同频,这其实就是中国传统文化所说的“天人合一”。我们可以将艺术创作本身视为一种类似神秘体验的过程,或一种有意识的实践。通过全身心的投入或观看,并心甘情愿地摆脱各种单调平凡世俗责任的牵绊,从而获得一种精神的回归。

There seems to be a screen that reflects upon the universe, or a space storing cosmic memories in our brain. We should believe that the universe records everything that is happening but sufficient energy is required for this space in our brain to be opened. Nature is constantly sending us the codes no matter when and where, it’s just that our inborn ability to connect with the universe and nature is corrupted by the so-called social rules, signs and criteria, slowly becoming paralysed and instrumentalised, losing its original acuteness and gifts. We search for and gather this kind of “energy” through art and let our bodies to be tuned to the same frequency with the universe, this is what we called “Tian Ren He Yi (the unity of heaven and men)” in traditional Chinese culture. We can see artistic creation itself a process similar to mystic experiences, or a practice with the consciousness. We can obtain a kind of spiritual return through total devotion of body and heart into art, and a willing abandonment of the secular responsibilities from the tedious and the ordinary.
